Reports of my demise, etc, etc.

I’m not dead yet!

I know it’s been a while since I’ve updated here. Life has been kinda crazy. I was very busy at home in Seattle until a few days ago, and then I hopped a plane and flew cross-country to my home-away-from-my-home-away-from home, scenic Massachusetts. While the trip took a few more spoons than I would have liked, it was uneventful, which is always good.

I’ve spent most of the last few days catching up with friends, laughing, eating, and talking. So much fun. And, as an added bonus, I actually slept last night! Whoo hoo!

Today is shaping up to be a lazy day. I’ve done the few things I had to do on the computer. Jer has started the Hawaiian music playlist (because he’s awesome like that). I think the hardest thing I have to do today is prepare for Thursday’s planned outing to WEBS. (Yes, I’m going there. Yes, I will be giving my wallet to Jer and Shama to prevent financial ruin.)

Jer & Shama are on vacation for the next few days, so there will be much adventuring, including a whisk(e)y tasting or two, the aforementioned trip to WEBS, a visit to Crown Bakery, and anything else that might strike our fancy. Then, as an added bonus, Phil and Beth will be trekking down from Maine to join us for sushi on Saturday night (let me know if you didn’t get the G+ or Facebook invite and you’d like to attend).

Speaking of which… some of you indicated that you might be interested in coming along, but I haven’t heard from you since. I’m hoping to call the restaurant today to give them a heads-up that we shall be descending upon them, so please consider RSVPing when you have a sec.

And now, I’m going to go back to perusing knitting patterns, napping, and knitting. Life is hard.

*mwah!*
