I’ve spent the day knitting and watching movies. Careful observers might note that this is not fundamentally different from any of my other days off, really. (Except, of course, for the lovely lovely presents sent by G’s family, all of which are going to be put to good and frequent use.)
Smaug is no longer certain that he wishes to play a role in the hat display process. Sauron, on the other hand, is pondering a tower cozy.

Mary, I will confess to an ulterior motive. Your machine has a monogramming feature……and I love monogrammed towels and linens….Are you starting to see the hidden motive?
Terri: Ulterior motives or no, you and K were far too generous! I will, however, happily monogram things to your heart’s content, once I figure out how the machine works. (As an added bonus, this is the same (or very close to the same) machine that the sewing center I go to uses for classes.!) 🙂
